New CLASSIC 1966 BATMAN TV SERIES BENDABLE FIGURES by NJ Croce!

Here at the Bat-Blog awhile back we reported about some brand-new BATMAN 5 1/2" Bendable Figures that are being made by the NJ Croce toy company. Those were all based on "silver age comic book" versions of the characters.



Well, now, they have announced some more they're gonna be making and they are based on the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series! Our first photo here up above shows what the "Adam West BATMAN" figure is gonna look like. Yes, they're gonna sell these on individual blister cards first (retailing for about $8 each) and then later you can buy the complete set in a fancy window box. You can look for all this stuff to hit stores around March, 2014. Also, please keep in mind that these are "prototype photos" and the actual product may vary.



The characters include: Batman, Robin the Boy Wonder, The Penguin, Catwoman and The Joker too!

New Classic 1966 BATMAN AND ROBIN TV Series ART BUSTS Coming Out in 2014

Here's some more brand-new "1966 BATMAN" merchandise that will be appearing in 2014. Here is a series of Art busts featuring the Dynamic Duo, individually. Now, i have shown the Adam West "Batman" one here before but the main reason for this post is because they have finally released a pic of what the "Robin, the Boy Wonder" one will look like.



It's not bad, it does
look a lot like Burt Ward. My only complaint, and it's extremely minor
and almost borderlines on "Fanboy-whining", is that the base looks
exactly the same. I'm not sure if that was a design decision or just
something that was cost effective but they could have tried a little
harder. but hey, like I said, that issue is minor. Both of these busts
are very accurate & are a great likeness of each character.



These mini-statues are made by Diamond Select and were designed by Barry Bradfield and
sculpted by Jean St. Jean. Also, they're made out of resin and will measure about six inches tall. They look like they're gonna have a retail price of around $50.00 each. Batman is coming out first, about April, 2014. Then Robin the Boy Wonder will be released in July.

MOEBIUS MODEL KIT - New Photos of the Classic Adam West 1966 BATMAN TV Series Figure!

Here's a quick post to share some amazing photos we just got from Moebius Model Kits. They show many different angles of the brand-new 1966 BATMAN TV Show Model Kit they made of Adam West. We also get to see it in completed form, all painted very professionally. 



Oh man, this kit is so beautiful. You can look for it in retail stores around April of 2014. That's not too far away but I can hardly wait to see it, ha!

New CLASSIC 1966 BATMAN TV Series Merchandise Spotted at JC Penneys!

Hey, here's some great news for fans of the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series! Frank, a friend of ours over at our Bat-Blog FACEBOOK Page, just spotted this totally brand-new '66 BATMAN Sweatshirt that they're selling at J. C. Penney's stores. It features the dynamic duo climbing a wall and also has the TV Show Logo, AWESOME!! ( Thanks Frank ).

Al Bigley's BATMAN HALLOWEEN ADVENTURE with Classic 1966 Adam West Costume

Out of the blue we hear from our good buddy Al Bigley and it appears he went a little nuts celebrating Halloween this year!! Yes, here he is at a fun local event wearing the brand-new Rubie's Classic BATMAN TV Series Halloween Costume. This thing is just like the one worn by Adam West in the 1960's TV show. The 1st one is a vintage black and white photo that shows Adam West and Burt Ward resting between takes. I guess it's sort of a "behind the scenes" photo.

The next episode (# 11) of Warner Bros' BEWARE THE BATMAN is titled, “Instinct”, and it airs this Saturday, October 5th, 2013, on the Cartoon Network at 10:00am ET (9:00 Central, Please check your local listings).



THE BASIC PLOT:

Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad are back…and they’ve set their sights on Gotham’s elite couture culture.  Leaving clues that only Batman can decipher, they attack both a model and a clothing designer – encasing them in deadly traps.  Although Batman and Katana are able to save the day, they miss Pyg and Toad’s master plan: to destroy the yacht where the after-party for Gotham’s Fashion Week is being staged.  Every fashion icon in the world will be there… as well as Bruce Wayne!

Hans' SUPER-RARE 1966 BATMAN Dutch Lemonade Blits-Drink Soda Bottle!

Here is a vintage item from the Batman collection of a friend of ours named Hans, who lives in the Netherlands. He very recently found this ultra-amazing and SUPER-RARE Batman item! It's a Lemonade Soda Bottle from 1967. Also, it's Dutch (not sold in the USA).


Hans said, I guess there's no good translation for the word "Blits" but "cool" or "happening" comes close. I have to agree Hans, this item is extremely cool! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos.

New Photo of the New 2013 Adam West TV BATMAN Moebius Model Kit!!

Here's a quick post to share this amazing photo I came across the other day showing what the brand-new Adam West 1966 Batman Model Kit by Moebius Models is gonna look like. Well, this is what it will look like if you're an awesome painter, ha ha!



This new plastic model kit was sculpted by Jeff Yagher and, in this photo, it was painted by a super-professional artist for the Moebius Model Company. Now, when I came across this photo I forgot to write down the name of the guy who painted it so if anyone knows then please let me know. I feel bad not being able to mention his name because he did an amazing job on it.



Anyways, This is scheduled to come out during the 4th quarter of 2013. So, that means, LOOK FOR IT SOON!!

Yes, you read the title correctly, there's a brand-new 1966 Batman Classic TV Series Slot Machine Game in Las Vegas!! Here's a photo showing Adam West at the unavailing. Wow! Just look at the artwork all over this thing! They even have the Joker, Riddler, and Catwoman too. I know this thing is going to be extremely popular because so many people love that TV Show.

Jerry's BAT-BIKE with BATMAN Autograph Collection

Hey, long time Bat-Blog Readers will remember this guy. We featured this Bat-Bike awhile back but Jerry sent us this new photo with some wonderful news. He's been going to a lot of Comic Con events scoring up brand-new autographs for his bike. You see, if he meets someone who is associated with the BATMAN TV Series then he gets them to sign his Bat-Bike!



So far Jerry has collected 12 signatures. New BEWARE THE BATMAN “Control” Episode #9 Preview Trailer Video Clips!!

The next episode (#9) of DC Comics' BEWARE THE BATMAN is titled, “Control”, and it airs this Saturday, September 21st, 2013, on the Cartoon Network at 10:00am ET (9:00 Central, Please check your local listings).



THE BASIC PLOT:

Desperate to gain access to the Ion Cortex after the kidnapping failure of Jason Burr, the League of Assassins instead send one of their specialized members to steal the information from Burr’s mind.  Half human and half computer upgrade, the assassin Cypher breaks into Jason’s lab and takes over his mind.  Batman and Katana try to stop him, but Katana inadvertently allows herself to be captured when she sees Jason being harmed.  Now controlling both Jason and Katana, Cypher escapes with Batman in pursuit.  Now, Batman must not only face Cypher, but his well-trained protégé Katana!
