Here at the Bat-Blog awhile back we reported about some brand-new BATMAN 5 1/2" Bendable Figures that are being made by the NJ Croce toy company. Those were all based on "silver age comic book" versions of the characters.
Well, now, they have announced some more they're gonna be making and they are based on the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series! Our first photo here up above shows what the "Adam West BATMAN" figure is gonna look like. Yes, they're gonna sell these on individual blister cards first (retailing for about $8 each) and then later you can buy the complete set in a fancy window box. You can look for all this stuff to hit stores around March, 2014. Also, please keep in mind that these are "prototype photos" and the actual product may vary.
The characters include: Batman, Robin the Boy Wonder, The Penguin, Catwoman and The Joker too!
OK, in advance, I'm gonna beg everybody to please PLEASE don't send me 200 emails asking where you can buy this dress, ha ha! I do not know who made it, I'm sorry. This is a random photo I came across the other day while surfing the web and I just knew I had to share it.
Here is an amazing custom dress that is inspired by the "Harley Quinn" character. Yes, this is the Joker's Girlfriend if she donned a totally retro 1950's pin-up style outfit. I gotta say that it's extremely well done, both in design and concept. I love it!!
OK, the BAT-BLOG is pretty famous for sharing photos of fun Batman-themed Birthday Cakes. We have even featured Wedding Cakes too but I don't think we have ever had one like this! These pics were sent in to us by a fan named Andrew. He recently graduated from college and his Girlfriend made him this incredible "Joker Graduation Cake" that has an amazing BATMAN / JOKER theme.
The pics of the cake are awesome and we have also included a picture of the invitations they sent out which featured some original art by an Artist named Adam Hicks.Thanks for sharing this Andrew and, "Congratulations!!", not just on graduating from school, but also on having such a cool girlfriend, ha!
Here's a quick shout-out for our friend Sean Naylor who is a graphic artist from Southern CA. He wrote me to let us know about a brand-new "Batman-inspired" JOKER Art Print he made for a currently-running art gallery show in California. You can also buy this item online, just CLICK HERE!Anyway, you can see the artwork LIVE in a group art show called, "Crazy 4 Cult: Say Hi to the Bad Guy!". It's at the Gallery1988 in Los Angeles, CA. The show is themed around villains and bad guys from cult classic movies & TV shows. For Sean's piece he chose to create an homage to Jack Nicholson's THE JOKER from the 1989 BATMAN Movie. It's pretty awesome! There are also a few other Joker pieces in the show, and lots of other amazing pop culture art as well. (Thanks Sean and Good Luck).

Check out these amazing photos our good buddy Benjy shared with us the other day. he recently went to a Car Show Event in New Jersey dressed-up as the Prince of Crime, The Joker! While there he got to see some amazing automobiles. They had the 1966 BATMAN TV Series Batmobile, The Munster Drag-U-LA Hot Rod Car from the Classic TV Show, The Dukes of Hazzard Car, and much much more!Here are some pics of him with George Barris ( the creator of the 1966 Batmobile and other famous TV & Movie Cars ). Also, in the last pic, Benjy got to meet with Butch Patrick who played "Eddie Munster" on the 1960's Munsters TV Show. (Thanks to Benjy for sharing your AWESOME pics! Yes, you read the title correctly, there's a brand-new 1966 Batman Classic TV Series Slot Machine Game in Las Vegas!! Here's a photo showing Adam West at the unavailing. Wow! Just look at the artwork all over this thing! They even have the Joker, Riddler, and Catwoman too. I know this thing is going to be extremely popular because so many people love that TV Show.
People who love Batman ( and Hallmark Christmas Ornament Collectors ) should be happy this year! For the 2013 Holiday Season Hallmark Stores are offering 3 different Batman-themed Ornaments. The first one we're talking about is the 2013 Batman Bat-Pod Motorcycle from "The Dark Knight Rises" movie. It's a special Hallmark Gold Crown Exclusive that will be limited to the "Ornament Debut Weekend" ( October 5th and 6th ) while supplies last. Only available at Hallmark Gold Crown Stores. Size: 4 1/2". Also, sorry about the crappy photo, ha ha, but this item has not been released yet and this is the best pic I could find.Then, don't freak out, there will be 2 more "Batman" 2013 Hallmark Christmas Keepsake Ornaments! One is called "Descending Upon Gotham City" and it's a re-issued ornament of Batman as a full-body figure ( The only difference from the previous version is that it's a different color and it's more in tune with the vintage comic books ). Then, there will be a "Talking Ornament" of THE JOKER ( Heath Ledger version from THE DARK KNIGHT). The cool thing is that you press a button and the Joker says some fun catch-phrases from the film.
At the recent Star Wars Celebration 6 they had Mark Hamill on stage and he thrilled fans with a Eulogy Reading in the voice of 'The Joker"... it's AWESOME!

Check out this amazing video created by our friend Kyle Roberts. This video is a complete tribute to the Classic 1966 BATMAN TV Series with Adam West and Burt Ward. The fun thing was that, to make it, he used the brand-new Batman TV Show Action Figures that were very recently put out by Mattel. It's extremely well done (the stop motion animation special effects took about 200 hours to make it!) and it's a complete homage to the "Animated Intro" of the show. Check it out! Here are two random photos I came across on the Internet that are pretty cool. First, some Cosplay guy at a recent Comic Con ( Sorry, I forget which one ) made this incredible "Joker" Mask!!! This is from the recent comic book storyline where the Joker had his face removed, Hannibal Lector-Style!

The moment you've all been waiting for is here. The new Batman: Arkham Origins "Nowhere To Run" trailer reveals a new assassin... the destructive Firefly!
One of my favorite modern-day toy makers is a toy company called FUNKO and here are a few new BATMAN products and toys they plan to release this year. The 1st example is the "Batman vs. Joker Throwdown Game". It comes out next month (September) and will retail for around $29.99. Basically, it's a dice, a card, and a board game... all in one! It also has a 12-Inch tall vinyl figure packaging that features the Caped Crusader!Each game comes with two, 2 1/2-inch tall collectible vinyl figure game pieces (Batman and Joker). Beat your opponent by using Combat Cards, Battle Cards, Boost Coins and Battle Dice. Be on the lookout for booster packs to collect more Combat Cards and Collectible Game Piece Characters (sold separately). The game is easy to learn and play and comes with detailed instructions.
Then, next-up, is a cool set of Batman and Joker School Supplies. These are a part of their "Tin-Tastic Activity Set" line. It's a cool "Can-Tivities" tin container in the shape of some of our favorite characters and it comes with 2 Pencils, 2 Figure-Shaped Erasers, and a nice Sticker Sheet. In the 1st wave they are offering two different ones of the Batman and the Joker ( They will also be making one of Robin ). These cans measure about 6" tall and will retail for around 9 bucks. They have a release date of "August". AHHH! That's this month, so keep an eye out right now when you are cruising thru your favorite retail store.

Over at the Official Warner Bros BEYOND THE LOT YouTube Page they started sharing the DC Comics' Batman Motion Comics of BATGIRL: YEAR ONE and THE BATMAN ADVENTURES: MAD LOVE (The Joker and Harley Quinn Origin).
